This jungle trek is approximately a 7 hour hike on day 1 and on day 2 approximately a 4 hour hike. This hike requires a similar level of fitness as the 1 day trek. As you walk deeper into the Mt Leuser National Park you will trek up and down the vertical tropical rainforest floor. You will begin your trek from your guest house at 8.30 am and should return by approximately 3 pm the following day. You will need to carry a small back pack with a big bottle of water (per person), insect repellent, sun cream, swim wear, flip flops, travel towel, spare set of clothes and toilet paper. You will need to wear suitable walking shoes and light clothing. Long pants if you want to cover your legs? During this trek you will have a greater chance to see orangutans and other wild animals in their natural habitat; Thomas Leaf monkeys, gibbons, pigtail macaques, argus pheasant, flying squirrels, kancil (mouse deer), hornbills. You will also see many different kinds of tropical plants and flowers. You will enjoy resting and relaxing in tranquil locations for fruit snacks, lunch x 2 and dinner & breakfast at the camp site area. Exploring small streams and waterfalls. At the end of your first day trekking you can swim in the river to refresh for the evening. The camp site will be all set up for you, a bamboo plastic tent structure with mattresses, blanket and mosquito nets. A jungle feast will be served, you can then play card games and chat into the night. After breakfast you can explore and then refresh in a waterfall followed by lunch by the river. You can choose to river raft back to the village (highly recommended) or walk back along the river to your guest house. The cost is quoted in Euro but paid in IDR using the current exchange rates. An overnight 2 day/1 night trek is Euro 110 per person in a group of 2 + people. This includes an English speaking guide and his assistant/s, National Park Permits and 4 meals. If you choose to river raft back to the village the price is Euro 120 per person
A 3 day/2 night trek - This jungle trek will take you to 2 different camp sites, the second day is quite strenuous as you trek up and down the vertical tropical rainforest. This trek includes fruit snacks, 3 lunches, 2 dinners, 2 breakfasts and river rafting. The price is Euro 150 per person in a group of 2 + people. This includes an English speaking guide and his assistant/s, National Park permits, river rafting and 7 meals.

If you want to do private jungle trekking alone you will need to negotiate the price to compensate the guides. If you are travelling by your self and do not want to pay the higher price, we can endeavour to organise for you to join with a group.
